We then welcomed our Keynote Speaker Patrick Mutuku, ex-Starehe and now a second year law student at the University of Nairobi. Patrick was supported at Starehe by the Beacon.
Patrick inspired us with an address centred on his own personal journey and the idea that whatever your background, it should not hold you back.
We then moved on to the Scholar Citizenship presentations. Projects were grouped into themes:
- Children and Education
- Environment and Recycling
- Health and Hygiene
- Vulnerable Youth
- New Thoughts
Here are some pictures from this part of the event:
Finally, New Scholars were invited to share with the Community their specific citizenship experiences.
All Citizenship Project presentations and videos are available for viewing in individual Scholar Profiles.
