The Beacon Alumni team, Beacon Forever, present a series of engaging fireside chats via Zoom to support current scholars with employability and networking.

Beacon University Scholars met and enjoyed a show at a London theatre, outings and community service over the 2016 Christmas holiday.

The Trustees visited Scholars in their Beacon Schools and met Mentors and Heads.

Joy Lelei, Beacon Scholar at St. Andrew’s Senior School & College, organised a ‘Workers Day’ for all school support staff.

Parents of current and former Beacon Scholars met in Nairobi and formed a new Beacon Parents Association.

The Leadership Day was held in Nairobi and was focused on younger Scholars because many of the older ones were either preparing for or writing GCSE exams.

Trustees, Reps, Scholars and Mentors met in Nakuru for a day of leadership activities and networking.

The annual visit by Trustees included visits to Beacon Schools, possible new Beacon Schools, and organisations who are considering sponsorship of the Beacon Programme.

The Trustees of the Beacon Equity Trust (BET) are pleased to announce a new partnership with Nairobi International School (NIS) for The Beacon Scholarship for University.

On the 14th April 2014, seven of the Beacon Scholars met at the Climb Blue Sky centre in Nairobi.
