Faraja enjoys all sports: general fitness, as well playing football and netball, and coaching netball. She also enjoys drama, both on stage and backstage, as lead Student Director.

Faraja is a respected leader and a positive role model for others. She enjoys getting involved with initiatives such as Black History Month, and has a record of showcasing and promoting diversity through various public events. She is a planner and an organiser of her peers, and at school was part of the planning committee for boarding trips and activities. She is also a natural mentor for her peers, guiding and supporting them on their own leadership journeys.

Faraja likes to be at the forefront of Citizenship activities, and projects close to her heart include supporting disadvantaged children in their education and working to improve standards in a nearby orphanage.
