Francesca Manyonyi

Attended Imperial College London University, UK and graduated in June 2025. Francesca, from Kenya, was awarded a Beacon Scholarship in 2022. She is currently working for the consultancy Enzi Ijayo, a Pan-African policy and research organisation focused on energy transition and renewable energy policy.

Francesca graduated with a BEng in Materials Science and Engineering and post-graduation is pursuing roles in consulting and policy analysis.

Over the course of her degree, Francesca enjoyed a variety of fitness activities, including yoga and gym attendance. She also enjoys crafting and has developed proficiency in British Sign Language. Whilst at Imperial, she contributed to the Material Science Department by supporting Open Days and was also part of the Student-Shaper team, reviewing Imperial’s assessment policies.

In her service and Citizenship activities, Francesca has mentored on the ‘Into University’ scheme. She has developed and maintained support for a school, organising monthly donations and has shown her support for ‘Period Poverty’ initiatives.
