Grace demonstrates strong engagement with the student community at LSE: she campaigned for the role of Activities and Communities Officer for the Student Union, gaining valuable experience in communication and connecting with students. As Student Academic Representative, she represents her peers effectively in meetings. She also creates social media content to promote LSE, earning her a nomination for Student Content Creator. Grace demonstrates a strong commitment to driving change with her work with Debate Mate and as a Thrive mentor.
She is a strong leader, showing collaboration and adaptability whilst maintaining a respectful, inclusive approach.
Beacon Summer Citizenship Project
Grace’s Summer Citizenship Project was called ‘Promoting Youth Civic Engagement in Dar-es-Salaam’ and focused on researching the factors which limit civic engagement in Tanzanian youth.
