Grace

Grace thrives on connection and is adept using a wide range of social media to give voice to the causes she is passionate about. She has fully immersed herself in service and Citizenship around LSE. She’s involved with the Debate Mate programme, judging competitions and mentoring local schoolgirls to improve their debating skills and build their confidence in public speaking. As an LSE Thrive Mentor, Grace supports minority school students in their applications to university, by giving them campus tours and facilitating virtual events. She is a confident and animated leader at all leadership events.

Beacon Summer Citizenship Project

Grace’s Summer Citizenship Project was called ‘Promoting Youth Civic Engagement in Dar-es-Salaam’ and focused on researching the factors which limit civic engagement in Tanzanian youth.
