Neema

Neema, from Kenya, graduated in 2026. Following graduation, Neema has accepted a place on a LLM with SQE programme, also at Cardiff University.

Neema’s citizenship has had a legal flavour, and she has edited and written articles for The Justice Gap magazine, including a piece on the police’s ‘Stop and Search’ policies, helping to make legal issues accessible to all. She has carried out a project called ‘Know Your Rights, Know Your Power’ – a civic education initiative to empower young Kenyans through simplified, bilingual resources (English and Swahili), and interactive workshops on their rights and responsibilities as citizens.
