Gabriel Gekonge

Alongside his studies, Gabriel has successfully completed a year in industry at Dynisma, where he led a company-wide research and development project to deliver a cost-effective solution to a previously costly computer simulation. Gabriel is an active presence in the communities he belongs to: he initiated and developed socials amongst Dynisma interns during his placement year, running group chats, dinners and game nights. He also organised a social gathering for other Bristol interns to share their experiences.

As a leader, Gabriel is positive and engaged. He can communicate his ideas persuasively, and is also skilled at garnering the opinions of other team members.

Beacon Summer Citizenship Project

Gabriel’s Summer Citizenship Project was called ‘Nairobi AI Exploration Lab: Using AI to Solve Real-World Problems’ and focused on empowering participants in Nairobi to explore, learn, and build with AI tools.
