Zion is a conscientious student and has adapted extremely well to a new school and a new way of learning. He is a reflective learner who is always looking for ways to improve his grades. Physics and Computer Science are particular strengths, and Zion was very proud to be invited to join the Accelerated Maths class this year too.
Zion is a keen footballer, representing the school at various tournaments, and he was particularly proud to be the youngest member of the U19 team at a tournament in Malawi. He is a successful cross-country runner with a place on the school cross-country team, earning an award for ‘Most Improved’ runner in the U16 category. He is also part of the school hockey team.
Conscious of his position as an emerging Changemaker, Zion is diligent in developing his social influence and communication skills: getting involved in the school MUN club, and being elected its President are both important achievements. He attends inter-school debates which have further developed his skill and confidence in public speaking.
Zion supports community initiatives at his church and works with fellow students to help them improve their grades. He was also elected as leader of the Community Service group at school.
