Dev is committed to service and Citizenship. He is the driving force in a project to setup and maintain a library in a local children’s home. This is something he has worked on for several years and using his knowledge of technology and computing he has found a way to make this project self-sustaining and long lasting for its users. As a leader, Dev shows good self-reflection and is a good listener, offering constructive suggestions and building trust with his peers.

Beacon Summer Citizenship Project

Dev’s 2025 Summer Beacon Citizenship Project was to construct a library to improve literacy and inspire creativity and critical thinking amongst the children at the Shelter Children’s home in Ngong town.
