Faith Mungonge

17 years old, attending Baobab College, Lusaka, Faith was awarded a Beacon Scholarship in May 2025.

Faith formerly attended Ashford Academy, Lusaka, where she was described as a studious, responsible and resilient student. Faith maintains an A-grade average, with school reports highlighting her outstanding effort across subjects, particularly in English and Art, where she excels.

At her previous school Faith enjoyed netball, singing, debate and drama. She represented her school in netball interschool tournaments and the ISAZ Chess Regionals. Faith has also participated in two World Scholars’ competitions in the senior division.

Faith held a range of leadership roles at her previous school including Head Girl, Class Representative and Debate Club President.  She is a natural communicator who is popular with her peers. Faith shows a commitment to school-based citizenship initiatives. She takes part in Lions Club and has led a charity donation drive collecting clothes and essential items for communities in need.
