Malcom

Malcom enjoys all that university life offers, and uses his experiences to benefit others in many meaningful ways. He has been appointed a Student Board Member at the University of Bristol for next year. During his internship year, as the Bentley Be United Ambassador, he organised multiple social events to create an inclusive environment. He organised several early‑careers events for 200+ students and an away-day for 10 colleagues to boost team cohesion, communication and morale.

Committed to service and citizenship, Malcom has a regular Saturday commitment cooking for the homeless with Chance, and has encouraged colleagues to join by organising a Kitchen Takeover. Malcom continues to mentor younger students at the charity he set up in Tanzania, The Golden Summer, and has mentored 2nd‑year university students.

Beacon Summer Citizenship Project

Malcom’s Summer Citizenship Project was called ‘Golden Summer: Build Her Future, Help Empower Girls Through Books & STEM’ and focused on empowering Tanzanian secondary school girls through literacy, life skills, and STEM workshops in Dar es Salaam.
